American Federal Architecture (1785 to 1830) | Explore the American style of Federal Period architecture and furnishings. Attend an illustrated lecture of samples of Maryland painted furniture, examples of inlays, tapered legs and fragility, and discover the stylistic characteristics of the Federal style in the U.S. Participate in a guided tour to Homewood House and the Maryland Historical Society. $95 includes $52 fee. Note: Transportation by AACC included. Extensive walking and standing required without assistance. Bring a bag lunch or purchase one on own. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for outdoors.
