Anne Arundel Community College recently hosted leaders from Anne Arundel County Public Schools for an inside look at the college’s cyber range and cybersecurity program.
AACPS board President Gloria Dent, board Vice President Dawn Pulliam, Superintendent Mark Bedell and Chief Technology Officer Michael Borkoski toured AACC’s Center for Applied Learning and Technology, where they observed a cybersecurity class in action and met with college leaders to discuss curriculum, workforce needs and opportunities for students, especially as they relate to the Maryland Blueprint’s College and Career Readiness goals.
The visit underscores AACC’s commitment to cybersecurity education and collaboration with AACPS. Through dual‑enrollment pathways, the two institutions are working together to prepare students for high‑demand careers in one of Maryland’s most critical industries.
AACC’s cyber range provides an immersive environment where students practice responding to simulated cyber incidents and developing the technical and analytical skills employers seek.
