With the support of Anne Arundel industry partners, AACC is excited to offer pre-apprenticeship courses in several areas of study.

Our pre-apprenticeships are designed to prepare you for an entry-level position in the industry. You will learn from an industry professional while participating in classroom and online instruction with hands-on lab training. Along with gaining valuable industry knowledge, you will also obtain OSHA-30 and CPR/First Aid certifications.

The program costs $3,450 for Anne Arundel County residents, including textbooks, instruction and lab supplies.

The Pre-apprenticeship Electrical program is designed to prepare you to enter and succeed in a registered Electrical Apprenticeship program. Job placement assistance is available upon successful completion of the program.

Requirements

If you're interested in enrolling into one of these programs, you must:

  • Attend an upcoming information session.
  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have a valid driver's license and transportation
  • Have basic computer skills and daily access to a laptop, desktop or tablet with internet, webcam and audio capabilities

How to Register

Students taking continuing education classes don't need to apply for admission to AACC. Just check out our course search, choose a program or course that interests you, register and make your payment. Registration for the winter and spring semesters is open. Registration for summer 2026 opens April 14!

If you have previously taken classes at AACC, you must log in using your AACC account. New students will be able to create a temporary account in the checkout process.

MyAACC Email

Upon registering for your course, regularly check your MyAACC account and AACC email for class and general updates from the college. Due to FERPA regulations, all official college communications must be sent to your AACC student email. This includes class cancellation and waitlist notifications.
